April 13 in Thailand is Songkran, the water festival. We celebrated Songkran in 2018 in Bangkok on Silom Thanon where a massive parade of celebrants just douse one another with water.
Although I was born in Thailand, I lived most of my life in the United States. It took many years to sort out my immigration documents, but once I did, I finally returned to my native country in 2018. As the pandemic draws to a close, more trips to Thailand are in the works.
